The Newton Mid-Kansas Symphony Orchestra seeks applications for the part-time position of Orchestra Manager with a contract start date of July 1, 2025. The NMKSO Orchestra Manager oversees and conducts the general business of the orchestra, in coordination and consultation with the board of directors and music director. Duties include managing the day-to-day operations of the orchestra as well as planning and facilitating all aspects of concert performances.

The successful applicant will have excellent communication and organizational skills in addition to a background or experience with orchestral music. Experience managing budgets and grant writing are strongly preferred. It is expected that the successful applicant will have strong computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office software (especially Excel and Word) and Google Docs.
