Concert Etiquette

To ensure a pleasant and enriching experience for all patrons and performers, we kindly ask for your cooperation with the following concert etiquette guidelines.

  • Please silence all cell phones, pagers, and watch alarms (no vibrate or screen use).
  • Please remain quiet during the performance.
  • If a child becomes fussy, please step out of the auditorium until they are comfortable.
  • Applause at the end of a complete musical selection is encouraged and appreciated. In classical music, it is customary to applaud only at the conclusion of an entire work (after the final movement). You can follow the program or watch the conductor to know when a piece has concluded.
  • Please remain in your seat until the performance has concluded. If you must leave the hall due to an emergency, please exit quietly at a definite break in the music (e.g., during applause or intermission).

Enjoy the beautiful performance!
